About This App

The Match Eatery & Public House mobile application (the "Match Pub app" or "App") is a patron-facing application for the Match Eatery & Public House restaurant chain operated by Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited ("Gateway").

The App is developed and published on the Google Play Store by Strategy9, Inc. ("Strategy9," "we," "us," or "our"), of Las Vegas, Nevada, on behalf of Gateway. Strategy9 is the technology vendor; Gateway is the property operator. Both organizations have privacy responsibilities that are described in this policy.

The App is a Progressive Web App (PWA) wrapped as a native Android application using Google's Trusted Web Activity (TWA) technology. Inside the App, your interactions with the underlying website at gw.playeriq.com are subject to the same privacy practices described here.

Two Privacy Policies Apply to Your Use of the App

Because Strategy9 builds and operates the App's underlying platform, while Gateway operates the restaurants and decides what marketing and loyalty activity to run, both organizations' privacy policies apply when you use the App:

1. Strategy9, Inc. — Platform & Technology Provider

Strategy9's privacy policy describes how the underlying PlayerIQ platform processes patron data, including server hosting (Microsoft Azure), data security practices, our SOC2 Type 1 certification, AI service providers used for content generation (Anthropic, OpenAI), and your rights under CCPA, PIPEDA, and GDPR.

2. Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited — Property Operator

Gateway's privacy policy describes how Gateway uses patron information for its loyalty programs, restaurant operations, marketing communications, and on-property services. Gateway is the data controller for patron information collected through the App in the context of the Match Pub loyalty program.

Where the two policies differ, Gateway's policy controls for matters related to your relationship with Gateway as a patron (loyalty membership, restaurant visits, on-property promotions, in-restaurant marketing). Strategy9's policy controls for matters related to the underlying technology platform (server hosting, infrastructure security, platform-level AI services, multi-tenant data architecture).

Information the App Collects

The Match Pub app collects the following categories of information, as described in detail in the Strategy9 and Gateway privacy policies linked above:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, mobile phone number, and Players Club membership identifiers
  • Loyalty & Activity Information: Stamp card progress, contest entries, restaurant visit history, and reward redemptions
  • Device & Usage Information: Device identifiers, IP address, app version, push notification token, and in-app navigation
  • Communication Preferences: Marketing opt-in status, push notification preferences, and email/SMS subscription state

The App does not access your camera roll, contacts, microphone, precise location, or other sensitive device permissions beyond what is required for QR scanning (camera) and notifications.

Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your Match Pub account and the associated PlayerIQ-platform data at any time. Account deletion instructions and the request form are at:

Children's Privacy

The Match Pub app is not intended for individuals under the age of majority in the patron's jurisdiction (19 in most Canadian provinces; 18 in Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec). We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a minor, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the App. Your continued use of the App after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
